NGOs we support

At The Heart Bazaar, we are committed to serving the society and good causes. Below are some of the non-profits and charity groups we support.

NGOs we support

Human Trafficking

EmancipAction is an international, non-profit organization with registration in India and USA, working to disrupt the business of child sex trafficking. Together with their partners, we aim to bring freedom, healing and justice to hundreds of thousands of children who have been horribly abused and exploited to fill a growing demand for commercial sex.

Hagar is a global Christian organization, registered in Switzerland that operates commercial and non-profit entities and engages in private and public sector partnerships in pursuit of its mission to restore women and children who suffer extreme human rights abuse to life in all its fullness.

Animal Welfare

SOSD is a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the welfare of Singapore’s many street dogs. We vehemently oppose the culling of stray animals and believe that there is a more humane way to manage this problem. Our dog shelter exists to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome strays to give them a second chance at life. If you’re an animal lover with a great passion for our canine friends, there are plenty of ways you can participate and help give these beautiful creatures a chance to find their forever home.

Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) was established in December 2000 as a non-profit organization with the mission to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs in Singapore. ASD was officially registered with the Registry Of Societies on the 3rd July 2002.

We aim to fulfill our mission through various activities and programs including rescuing, fostering and re-homing of stray and abandoned dogs, advocating sterilization as a means of controlling the stray population, heightening public awareness of the responsibilities involved in pet ownership and highlighting the virtues of our local dogs.

Cancer is a leading cause of death by illness among children today. There are different types of cancers which afflict children, from leukaemias and brain tumours to sarcomas and others.VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer focuses on life-saving leading-edge research, medical care and education. We are racing against time to develop better treatments, faster cures and to make newer discoveries. We believe these would all translate into better survival rates with less late-effects for affected children.

The Soup Kitchen Project is an initiative to feed the poor in Singapore. The primary target is the needy in the vicinity of Post-Museum/Food #03 - Little India - including the 1-room flat residents, cardboard and can collectors, Sungei Rd vendors and homeless.
